Another miracle baby in Japan

A doctor in Japan whose hospital was hit by the tsunami has witnessed the birth of his son.

Doctor Takeshi Kano was working at Shizugawa Hospital in Japan when the tsunami struck. Despite the imminent birth of his child, Kano stayed put treating patients and tsunami victims.

He was only reunited with his wife three days later when he made it to her hospital bed in time to witness the birth of their baby boy.

Kano and his wife have called him Ray as they believe the baby has given them hope.
