A dress that Kate Middleton (Prince Williams’ fiancée) famously wore in a 2002 fashion show — if you can call it a dress — sold at auction in London on Thursday for more than $125,000. According to royal wedding lore, Prince William first started looking at his college chum in a different light when she walked the catwalk in the transparent garment (over black underwear). The winning bidder was an unidentified man who, his rep told reporters, “thinks it’s an iconic piece.”
